History

Knowledge Interactive was established in 2002 by Jim Land of Cresent to bring together leading experts in the design and implementation of elearning strategies.

During the first year of operation the company invested heavily in developing technology to help clients to get the most from technology based training, in particular training delivered via the internet. One result of this investment was the development of Intelligent Streaming Technology (IST) which dramatically improves the download speed for internet courseware and ensures that the trainee does not experience undue delays during training.

Also during this period the company established its Internet Training Portal which provides customer access to the training courses and the associated administration and Training Record system. Many hundreds of people have since received training on the internet via the portal.

In addition highly efficient internal models for the application of the technology used in courseware development were created, ensuring consistency and rapid course production.

Since then a successful track record of training course production and delivery has been established through the development and marketing of courses under the Knowledge Interactive and Cresent  brands.

October 2004 saw the launch of the highly innovative Raise Your Game series of Professional Development courses developed jointly with Norfolk and Waveney Enterprise Services.
